It is with a heavy heart that I announce the temporary closure of all 18 of The Real Greek restaurants, as well as delivery and take-away services.
This of course follows the recent government guidelines about social distancing and staying home where possible. For the last 20 years, our restaurants have been at the heart of your communities and it is important that we are now responsibly protecting those communities and our staff as best we can.
We will be giving leftovers to local food banks to help benefit those most in need during this challenging time.
This temporary suspension is a difficult sacrifice for our team of wonderful people, who have all worked so hard over the years, and especially during this recent period.
Our staff have brought The Real Greek values of warmth and hospitality to life for our guests. We are now doing our utmost to ensure we have treated them fairly, giving full notice and helping provide support and advice during this time. Our door is open for them to return when normal service can resume.
We cannot thank you enough for the overwhelming support you have given to The Real Greek during these difficult times – and for the love and loyalty our guests have shown to the restaurants.
For now, care for your loved ones and make sure you’re safe and well. We will get through this together and we cannot wait to welcome you back into the restaurants and raise a glass together when the time comes.
